Breed Introduction

The Belgian Tervuren gives the impression of a well-proportioned medium-sized dog, with an elegant attitude and a square body shape, proudly holding its head and neck high. It is sturdy, agile, and muscular, always remaining alert. The overall structure gives the impression of depth without being bulky. Undoubtedly, males exhibit masculinity while females are noticeably more delicate, but the criteria for evaluation are the same for both sexes. The Belgian Tervuren is a natural dog that does not need to be deliberately posed during competitions.

The qualities displayed by the Belgian Tervuren are intelligence, bravery, vigilance, and love for its owner. In addition to herding flocks, it can also protect its owner and their property, but it is not overly aggressive. When commanded, it is alert, focused, and takes action.
