Breed Introduction

The Greyhound originates from Italy and is a champion on the racetrack, reaching an average speed of 60 km/h. Historically used for hunting rabbits, Greyhounds now play a major role in dog racing in some countries. These dogs are very obedient to their owners and charming, with an elegant temperament.

Known for their speed and intelligence, they are one of the oldest dog breeds. Since ancient times, wild rabbits have been the competition for Greyhounds, but for training purposes, they now chase mechanical rabbits.
